Ask Ty...June 14 [The Alvin Greene Question]

It must be Tuesday Monday, Middlespace Cadets, because I'm answering your questions
Q: Dear Ty,

What's your take on the Alvin Greene situation in SC? Would there be the same reaction if a similarly unpolished unknown white guy won in that election? Maybe he's a plant, maybe there's some dirty politics going on, but there is also some not very subtle racism going on, whatever the situation, yes?

- Dave Dave
Ty: Good question and an even better observation, DD. Alvin Michael Greene of the honorable state of South Carolina is a bigger hero to me than Frank Lloyd Wright, Miles Davis, Magic Johnson, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart combined. Alvin Greene is the New America.

If you don't know who or what I'm typing about right now then you really need to ask yourself, "Am I well versed on current events?" So, since I'm in the giving mood, I'll throw you a bone: [start here: clicky] If you still don't "get it"? Still scratching your head? Try this: [clicky]

Haha! Alvin Greene rules! OK, since that's out in the open, let me get to your questions Dave Dave. I'll do it directly this time to make it simple.
  • What's your take on the Alvin Greene situation in SC?
What's my take? I love it. I absolutely love the whole damn thing. I can't get enough video. The Shepard Smith interview is comedy genius.
  • Would there be the same reaction if a similarly unpolished unknown white guy won in that election?
This is a rhetorical question, right? OF COARSE™ (SIC) DOYE the reaction wouldn't have been the same. This would have been Joe the Plumber or Sarah Barracuda® or something Patriotic© or something. But no, what we got was "unemployed," "living at his father's house," "no campaign," "a plant," "and "black!"
  • Maybe he's a plant, maybe there's some dirty politics going on, but there is also some not very subtle racism going on, whatever the situation, yes?
Plant schmalant. I mean, c'mon, Mr. Greene does possess a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of South Carolina ("The Other USC"). He was an "intelligence specialist" in the United Sates Army. He knows how to find pornography on the interwebs. He's certainly qualified to be a United Sates Senator (esp. from South Carolina). So yeah, there's some of the race stuff perhaps maybe.

Subtle racism? No, Dave Dave. This is just good, old-fashioned CLASSISM with a sprinkling of racism on top. It's delicious too!
South Carolina is the best politics on earth. Mark Sanford, Nikki Haley, and now Mr. Alvin Greene. South Carolina is a 'tard-bed of fun, racism, and intellectual...uh...intellectuality not so good-ness.

God bless America, right Dave Dave? I hope he wins. I want to move to South Carolina and campaign for him except for the part about moving and South Carolina. Other than that, I'm all for Alvin Greene!

Just a guess,
