i too have become victim to the forces that be
and i’m here to announce my retirement
from all of this / way of life / thing i do
because i lost to the undefeated
we have all lost everything
now to cry salty tears
BUT [free will is not for the faint of heart]
understanding the cycles
of the ebbing and the flowing
that is the totality of our existence
as fragile / delicate / meaningless as
we have always honestly feared it to be
i am just riding out life as undercover artist
